UAW Local 2256 Upcoming Election Notices

Information for the upcoming elections is listed below. 

For more information regarding elections, see Article 38 of the UAW Constitution

UAW 39th Constitutional Convention

All members in good standing for one (1) year are automatically nominated. 

• Candidates must accept nomination in writing at the UAW Local 2256 Hall.
• Nominations will be accepted from 9:00am to 3:00pm Wednesday, April 8th and Thursday, April 9th .
• No acceptances may be made by telephone or mail.

Election for the UAW 39th Constitutional Convention will take place on:

• Wednesday, April 29, 2026, from 7:00am until 6:00pm.

UAW Local 2256 Officers
Nominations are being accepted for the offices of: 

• President
  • 1st Vice President
  • 2nd Vice President
  • Recording Secretary
  • Financial Secretary/Treasurer
  • Three (3) Trustees
  • Sergeant-at-Arms
  • Guide

• Candidates must accept nomination in writing and in person at the UAW Local 2256 hall.
• Nominations will be accepted from April 15 through April 22, 2026 by 3pm.
  • Except on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, where nominations WILL be accepted at the Local Membership Meeting at 6:30 pm.

Election of UAW Local 2256 officers will take place on:

• Tuesday, May 13, 2026, from 7:00am to 3:00pm.
• Wednesday, May 14, 2026, from 10:00am until 6:00pm.
